Sara Daleiden

Sara Daleiden facilitates civic engagement within developing landscapes, exercising arts and cultural exchange strategies. With bases in Los Angeles and Milwaukee through her initiative MKE<->LAX, she encourages local cultures to value neighborhoods, public space, civic art, entrepreneurship, and racial and gender equity. She has consulted with numerous nonprofits, for-profits, government bodies, artists, and other cultural workers on business development to experiment with income generation and budgets. Her collaborators include the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the Greater Milwaukee Committee on Community Development, among many others. She received her Master of Public Art Studies degree at the University of Southern California (USC) and has served as faculty with Otis College of Art’s Graduate Public Practice program.
