O-1 AND EB-1 STATUS

Becoming Extraordinary: Immigration Law For Creatives
LED BY
Immigration Attorney
OR

Course Description

Extraordinary ability (O-1 and EB-1) classifications in the United States are often referred to as “artist visas.” Immigration lawyer Aaliya Zaveri clarifies what these classifications actually mean, who may qualify (spoiler alert: lots of creative professionals), and what is required to meet the guidelines set by the government. Since applying for either O-1 or EB-1 immigration status can be a time-consuming, complicated, costly, and emotional process, especially when personal (and even professional) markers of success may not align with those used by immigration officials, Aaliya demystifies the process and reveals best practices. She also addresses the complex cultural and psychological aspects that impact many when they’re going through the process.

This course consists of a 30-minute video, opportunity for research, and a worksheet that could take days or years to complete, depending on where you are in the process.
